Creating Web Parts through Visual Studio 2008 for SharePoint 2007

• Once you installed VS2008, you will not see "SharePoint" in your New Project window


• To view SharePoint in vs2008, you need to install Visual Studio 2008, extensions


• You can download it from below link

• Now you will see "Sharepoint" in New Project Window
  

• Click ok


• You will get similar kind of below screen
  

• Right click on project name and go to properties
  
• Select Debug

• Enter your Sharepoint Site URL


• Click Deploy
